Just an update

College has been very interesting, in a good and a bad way. My classes are for the most part going great, I love my Psychology class even if it is at 7:30am! My other classes are just kind of "bllaahh", just kidding I have my church choir class and thats a blast! I dont know if you knew this but they sang for Pres. Monson, I was supposed to sing as well. I had my songs down and knew what I was going to wear and then... I got sick!! I just thought "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? NO!!" I was so mad. My friends were asking me where I was and then the friends just watching were telling me that they were looking for me but couldnt find me, good thing they took notes and could tell me what it was about.

It had recently snowed and everybody in the dorms went out and played in the "first snow fall", it was a blast! Funny story time: This kid had built a snow man and I had always wanted to round house kick one, but never my own because I was usually so proud of what I had built, so I choose to do it to his. Hehe, I ran over and round house kicked it in 2! It was awsome, he was at first mad and then saw it was me and just shook his head and asked why I had done it. I just said that I had always wanted to, so I did.

I have been going to our basketball games and we kick butt! So watch out Tenny...

Any who, that all that I can think of thats worth telling right now, wish me luck.

The Week of 4/11 Through 4/15

This week has been a bit hard for me. I have had a lot of homework! You see I had to write this paper for my AP English class, it was on Their Eyes Were Watching God, it had to be around 4 pages and 750-1,000 words. I should not have been as hard as it was for me to do.. but no fears it only took me about 6 hours, some phone calls, and some help form one of my best friends Kc Decker. Kc taught me how to site my web pages and ref. books, Oh and thanks to whit and Austin Allen (the people that I called)

That wasn't the only homework that I had! I had a state test today (4/15/11) for my dental program and had to study all week. I am proud to say that I got 87% on it! At the Tech Center I also have an advanced health class and had to do 2 assignment for that class (that wasn't to bad, just a waist of my time) Anyways... I am just glad that its the weekend!!

At my office I have learned how to take impressions and then make a mold of the teeth. I have yet to do it on a patient yet, because I need to practice first so they had me do it on myself.

When I go back in next week they are going to teach me how to make bleaching trays! So that is a plus for me, all I will have to do after that is buy the bleach.

I will have everybody know that this was the first time that I have been able to pin the rose on to my date. I am so proud of myself and it stayed on all night!!

For our day activity: we set up the room for prom. It turned out to be so fun! When we were done it looked good but come to find out some of the things that we put up fell :(. We then hung out for a while.

It only took me 2 hours to get ready after which Tyty picked me up and we went to dinner. It was a fish place, and I didnt eat any fish (which is kinda funny). I ate this chhese ravioli dish, it was So GOOD!

The dance was so fun put a little croweded.

Not only we were the set up crew but we cleaned up afterwards.. but the good thing was that while we were setting up the rooms that had to be used as the rooms in which the pictures were taken, we were able to also play with them for a while.. in all it was fun!

The drive home is about 20min.. and I got home at 12:22am and after telling my mom that I was home went down to bed.. only I needed help to unzip my dress.. and had to ask Hannah over and over to help me before she even did help me. Once the dress was taken off and some wonderfull pjs were put on I went to bed and had the best nights sleep that I have had in a while.. I was just worn out!

School

I am now done with my medical terminology class, I am so happy! I passed the class and now I don’t have to ever take it again. My dental class is going good, just the other day we learned how to use fluoride (the gel kind) and next week we are using the foam. I like how it tastes but it kinda makes me feel sick. I decided that I am no longer going to be in orchestra. I hate that class now, I dread going to it. There are only a hand full of people in there that don’t annoy me, the music hasn’t been that great (but it’s getting better), I don’t want to have to deal with solo ensemble, I never take my violin home because there is not really time to practice to the full extent, and I am not going on tour and half of the music is meant for tour. I don’t know what class I am going to take in its place but I will figure it out, I am going to try to get a easy class where I don’t have to do much that way I can do my school work and not have to take it home.
