Ymmy! I will admit that I did not really make it, but I did do the egg white top of the pie. I think that I get at least half of the credit. My cousin Erin is the one who really slaved over it all day. So lets give her a round of applause because it was the best meringue pie that I have ever eaten!! I have decided that I will have to make it for my Utah family when I get back. I will also need to make my Nonnas famous chicken dumplings. They are so good that I think that even my siblings will eat them and love them. In other news I had gone to the zoo a while back with my Texas family and if you want to see those photos then go on to my facebook, they are in the album of 2012.
The other day I had taken a shower and to get the extra water drops out I will usually throw my head back and forth to swoosh my hair. Well I was doing this in the living room while my little brother Andrew was telling me a story and watching TV, I turned around and swooshed my hair but I had not noticed that my bro. had put a TV tray behind me so of course I hit my head on it. All I recall is just sinking to the floor having my eyes black out and I wanted to puke. Good thing I didn't puke because I didn't really want to take a trip to the hospital. I bent over the rocking chair while Andrew was asking "Kelsie! Are you okay?... That was a really loud sound, did you hit your head?.. kelsie.. kelsie" Finally I just yelled Andrew give me a minute! And that is how I gave my self a minor concussion.
Well I decided to start this up again! Its been what? 6 months? Well somewhere around there. Im really glad that its summer time and that I get a break from school. I am currently in Texas for the summer and I am looking for a job down here. I think that I can get a job at the eye doc. place. I am also going to still see if I can get in a dental office. I also have a summer project while I am here. You see my cat Any got really sick a while back so my room became the "cat room" because its not like I was visiting as often so now that I am staying for the summer we are redoing it so that I will have a room. I washed the walls and we got a new bed. But what my project is, is refurnishing the bed posts. They are really old and have been passed down (we calculated that its around 100 years old) and so I have been working on sanding them and then I am going to stain them a honey pine color. I will be putting pictures up once I am done of the before, middle, and after. Another summer project (well a project that I created for my dad) is to cut down a tree in our back yard so that sun will once again hit the pool.
I also have some video of my little brother and sister doing taekwondo which I will be putting up, once I figure it out. They are so good, they are at the stage where they are breaking boards. They always get mad at me because I dont know anything about it and get the belt colors mixed up because all I know is the order that Jonas has gotten them. I will one day learn the difference between them.
